interesting stuff – especially about easy vs. hard (or maybe interesting would be the right word 🙂 and your career progression.

i did an open mic show in london (first time 🙂 and bombed so hard i left a crater. anyway, there were a few different south asian guys and one of them did a whole bunch of easy stuff and i asked him about it and objected on the grounds that it was cheap – he was kind of embarassed but he also said he felt like he needed to in order to boost his career. So how do you deal with the structural parts of it?

on an aside, i really like the manoj video, but one issue i have with this (and this is meant to be constructive criticism based on that i think you would appreciate it) is that you place him as an indian rather than an indian american (or south asian american). is that self-critique or is that indulging the 'fob' stereotype while you're playing wtih it? Or both?
